What's New

Dilkon Courts Multipurpose Facility

Details
Created: February 06, 2008

Dilkon Arizona, Navajo Nation

JSRa was recently selected to provide A/E services for a new District Court facility for the Navajo Nation in Dilkon, Arizona. This new facility will embrace the Navajo Peacemaking process, using traditional methods to restore Harmony in the community. In addition to conventional courtrooms, it will include a special area for parties to resolve conflicts using a Peacemaker as a facilitator. This traditional process has been used for centuries by the Navajo and is being celebrated in this contemporary facility for the first time. The Dilkon District Court facility will be the first of its kind within the Navajo Nation and will potentially serve as a prototype for future projects.
